Lena Gercke verrät, ob sie ihr Kind später mal in der Öffentlichkeit zeigen will
Sabine Zimmermann was born in Hanover in 1951. Her adoptive father Eduard Zimmermann launched " File number XY ... unresolved " in 1967 , a program about retelling real crime cases and, above all, with the help of the population. In one of the first programs that Sabine Zimmermann saw, she told me in an interview with the "Stern", she was really afraid: "At the age of 16, I saw one of the first 'XY' programs alone and forgot that Lock the house. Armed with a bread knife and a glass water bottle, I locked all the doors. "
She trained as a photographer and then worked for seven years at the Munich Police Department's identification service. In 1987 she took over the co-moderation of "File number XY ... unresolved", first alongside her father and later alongside Butz Peters. She moderated the show for 14 years. She later took over production management. Most recently she lived in Munich and Mallorca.
Moderator Rudi Cerne, who has been moderating the wanted broadcast for 18 years, paid tribute to Zimmermann: "I was very moved by the news of Sabine's death. It was an impressive personality and was still the soul of 'Case number XY ... unresolved'."
