"A non-working day does not apply to weekends or non-working holidays, therefore, payment is made in the usual rather than an increased amount," the agency’s website explains.

Also earlier, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, Anton Kotyakov, said that the wages of employees should not be reduced if their labor duties for the period of non-working days have not changed.
Non-working days were declared on May 6, 7 and 8 in connection with the introduction of a self-isolation regime in the country, which will last until May 11 inclusive. However, the days from May 1 to May 5 and from May 9 to 11, according to the production calendar, are considered public holidays, therefore they are paid to working citizens in double size.
