Nova Scotia RCMP have taken a suspect in a shooting investigation near Portapique, N.S., into custody.
Gabriel Wortman, 51, was taken into custody by RCMP at the Enfield Big Stop on Highway 102.
The Mounties say that more information will be released when it becomes available.
Cpl. Lisa Croteau, public information officer with the RCMP Nova Scotia, told the Canadian Press that police received a call about “a person with firearms” at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and the investigation “evolved into an active shooting investigation.”

N.S. SHOOTER MAP
Officers stressed throughout their updates that the 51-year-old was considered armed and dangerous.

There are believed to be several victims at this time although Croteau would not provide a number on how many victims there are or say whether any people had been killed.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau offered his condolences during a press conference in Ottawa on Sunday.

“My heart goes out to everyone affected in what is a terrible situation. I want to thank the police for their hard work and people for cooperating with authorities,” he said.

The last update provided by the RCMP before Wortman was taken into custody had the 51-year-old travelling southbound on Highway 102 in a silver Cheverolet Tracker that was last spotted in Milford, N.S.
They had previously asked residents to avoid Highway 4 near Hidden Hilltop Campground in Glenholme, N.S., as they believed Wortman was in the area.
Shortly after 10:15 a.m., the Mounties said the 51-year-old may be driving what appears to be an RCMP vehicle and may be wearing an RCMP uniform.

Wortman has been described by police as a bald man with green eyes. He is approximately 6’2″ or 6’3″ tall.
Tom Taggart, a councillor who represents the Portapique area on the Municipality of Colchester, said the quiet community has been shaken.

His grandson Guillaume also paid him a vibrant tribute on his Facebook page, calling him a model of humanism, above all.
Graduated in fine arts in 1961, Claude Lafortune did not expect to become a television presenter. His flagship show, which he was inseparable, lasted only one year but nevertheless made a big impression on the public.

Although a believer himself, he explains that the objective was not to tell the story of Jesus from a religious point of view, but to teach the life of this character.
Above all, he wanted the program to be used to convey the values of respect and love for others.
Before  L'Évangile en papier , Claude Lafortune created the sets, in cardboard of course, for the  cult film  IXE-13 , by Jacques Godbout. He also created the sets for the children's program  Sol et Gobelet  and those for the National Day parade in 1981, "where all the floats were made of aluminum, like paper".

Mr. Lafortune had taught visual arts for four years in schools in Sherbrooke and Montreal, in addition to supervising training courses.

He was honored with the gold medal of the Lieutenant-Governor of Quebec in April 2018, before receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Quebec in Montreal on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Commission of Inquiry into the arts education in Quebec.

R. Kelly’s Ex-GF Azriel Clary Sends Joycelyn Savage Message of Support: ‘Always Missing You’

azriel clary misses joycelyn savage after leaving r kelly

Reconciliation? R. Kelly‘s former live-in girlfriend, Azriel Clary, reached out to her former fellow live-in girlfriend Joycelyn Savage in a heartfelt message on Friday, April 17. Azriel, 22, seemed ready to put her differences with Joy, 24, aside after their fight to offer her support.

“Miss [you],” the aspiring singer wrote on her Instagram Story in the caption of a throwback photo with Joy. “This is when Belief had to get stitches in his paw and I was crying in the taxi and you were trying to comfort me. [You’re] beautiful and strong and one day you will remember your strength too. I know leaving was bad, but I also know you weren’t yourself, because the funny southern belle, Wing Spot lovin’, Memphis reppin’ Joy I know would never.”

Joy and Azriel were the last two of Kelly’s live-in girlfriends and they continued to cohabitate in his Trump Tower condo after his arrest on 18 federal charges — including child pornography— in July 2019.  But in December 2019, Azriel moved out of the condo. When she returned in January to retrieve her belongings, she got into a fight with Joy who accused her of being “wrong” and “disrespectful” toward Kelly, 53, who currently remains in jail as he awaits trial in September 2020.

But now, it seems like Azriel is willing to forgive Joy. “I love you, A man should never hold you back and one that is happy to do so is not a real man. A man that does not allow you to have a life outside of him is not a man with genuine intentions. Always missing you,” she continued.

Since leaving Kelly, Azriel has spoken out about her experiences with the “I Believe I Can Fly singer, whom she met when she was 17 years old. She alleged Kelly was “controlling” and “abusive” toward her during their relationship in an interview with The Sun in January.

“[I] could not do anything without him knowing. You have to ask him if you could go to the restroom, you would have to knock anytime you would enter or left a room. You couldn’t make calls without him knowing. You definitely had to wear very loose clothing, anything that was tight-hugging, revealing, even a simple shirt like this,” she said, gesturing to the white long-sleeved V-neck shirt she had been wearing at the time of the interview. “I wouldn’t have been able to wear.”

Kelly has previously denied all allegations of sexual abuse.

Inside Kourtney Kardashian’s amazing surprise 41st birthday party in quarantine

The mom of three's special day started off with a trail of white petals leading down her staircase to a den made by her seven-year-old daughter Penelope.

She was soon distracted by some amazing Minnie Mouse balloons in her foyer that were organized to be delivered by her younger sister Khloe, 35.

But treats didn't stop there as sisters Kim, 39, Kendall, 24, and Khloe were joined a group of Kourtney's closest pals for a "social distancing birthday bash," which kept to the guidelines that have been set to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Another video showed her whole street filled with cars and her loved-ones beeping their horns, blasting out Rihanna's song Birthday Cake and singing happy birthday.

She captioned the post: "Heard a bunch of honking and screaming, and came out to this, best birthday surprise"

Kourtney wasn't the only one to document the amazing surprise on social media, the rest of her pals, including BFF Sarah Howard, stylist Dani Michelle, Kim's personal assistant Stephanie Shepherd, model Fai Khadra and managing editor of Poosh Michelle Scanga also did too.

With all the commotion going on outside her sister's lavish pad, Kim joked on her story "the neighbors hate us lol."

The kids also got to have their own fun too as Saint West and his younger cousin Reign had a go at hitting the human-sized piñata that looked very similar to the birthday girl.

Kim posted some throwback pictures of the pair on her social media

Not only did Kourtney receive an amazing quarantine bash her sisters also paid tribute to her special day on Instagram.

Khloe trolled her sister by posting video of her on toilet, and other embarrassing pics and Kim joked that her older sister 'packs a mean punch.'

Just days before her 41st birthday, Kourtney had to deny rumors that she was pregnant after fans were asking if she was expecting a fourth child when she shared a new portrait which saw the mom-of-three pose in an unbuttoned shirt and underwear.

Speaking during an Instagram Live, Kourtney has revealed that she posted the snap knowing she wasn't pregnant: "I've been pregnant three times I know what my body looks like."
"I could have taken that offensively and been 'oh my gosh do I look pregnant?', but I knew I didn't look pregnant," she said.

"To me it's very feminine to have curves and I embrace my body so I didn't take it offensively."
One fan commented to ask if the 40-year-old was pregnant and instead of shutting it down, Kourtney simply replied with a prayer emoji and added: "Put the blessing out there though."

Kourtney has three children with former partner Scott Disick - Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and five-year-old Reign - and she is thought to be currently dating model Younes Bendjima after the pair reunited in 2019.
