Svyatogorsk Lavra ignored quarantine. A crowd gathered under the church
In the Svyatogorsk Lavra in the Donetsk region, several hundred people attended the Easter service at night.
People ignored quarantine and calls by the authorities to stay home.
Believers and priests stood close to each other. Almost all had no masks or respirators.
At first, only priests ruled the service. But after going around the church with the shroud, a crowd of people crowded into the temple. Judging by the broadcast, the temple had police officers. But they ignored the quarantine violation.
Svyatogorsk Lavra belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
As the ICTV Facts wrote, doctors suspect an outbreak of coronavirus in the Pochaev Lavra, but the rector of the temple does not allow this to be verified.
