Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to visit India from February 24-26

Microsoft's India-born CEO Satya Nadella will be in India for a three-day trip beginning from February 24. Nadella will visit Mumbai, Bengaluru and New Delhi during his India visit and deliver the keynote address at Future 'Decoded CEO Summits'. In Delhi, Nadella will meet a group of students, developers and entrepreneurs.

NHAI collects ₹20 crore from 18 lakh defaulters entering FASTag lanes

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Sunday said it has collected ₹20 crore from 18 lakh defaulters who entered the FASTag lanes at electronic toll plazas without the tag. Earlier, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways had said that double toll charge would be collected from the vehicles entering FASTag lanes without the tag.

Adani Group to buy property near Delhi's Mandi House for ₹400 crore

Adani Group has won a bid to acquire Aditya Estates Pvt Ltd through an insolvency process in a ₹400-crore deal. Aditya Estates holds a 3.4 acre of residential property near Delhi's Mandi House. The NCLT has approved the resolution plan of Adani Properties to acquire Aditya Estates for ₹265 crore and another ₹135 crore would go towards meeting statutory charges.

US surpasses China to become India's top trading partner

The US has surpassed China to become India's top trading partner, according to Commerce Ministry data. In 2018-19, the bilateral trade between the US and India stood at $87.95 billion as compared to India's two-way commerce with China aggregated at $87.07 billion during the period. America is one of the few countries with which India has a trade surplus.

Warren Buffett says Berkshire Hathaway '100% prepared' for his death

Berkshire Hathaway Chairman Warren Buffett, the world's fourth-richest person, in his annual letter to shareholders said his company is "100% prepared" for his death. The 89-year-old added shareholders can ask Vice Chairmen Ajit Jain and Greg Abel questions at Berkshire's annual meeting in May. "They are outstanding individuals...and you should hear more from them," Buffett said.

MGM Resorts sued over data breach of 10.6 million guests

US casino and hotel operator MGM Resorts has been sued over a data breach that occurred last summer and reportedly involved details of over 10.6 million hotel guests. MGM earlier confirmed it had "discovered unauthorised access to a cloud server that contained limited information for certain previous guests". The lawsuit has been filed by law firm Morgan & Morgan.
