India lose 2nd Test to NZ in 3 days, suffer Test series whitewash after 8 years

New Zealand defeated India by seven wickets on the third day of the second Test in Christchurch today to register a 2-0 series whitewash. This is the first time since their 0-4 defeat in 2011/12 against Australia that India have suffered a series whitewash in Test cricket. Further, this is India's first series defeat in Test cricket in 17 months.
